'Pawn Shops' Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison Arrested for Assault

It's not enough that 'Pawn Shops' reality star Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison gives his dad headaches in their family owned store; now Corey is causing trouble in the public as well. Corey Harrison was arrested Sunday for resisting arrest and battery during a barroom brawl in a California Mountain Resort.

Harrison, 27, reportedly got into an argument with another customer at Murray's Saloon and Eatery in Big Bear Lake. When the deputy and guard were investigating the dispute, they were attacked.

After the incident, Harrison was booked into the county jail in Big Bear Lake for investigation of battery and resisting arrest. According to 'On the Red Carpet' "Harrison was held for a couple of hours to let him sober up and was later cited and released."

Harrison stars with his father Rick "The Spotter" Harrison and Grandfather Richard "The Old Man" Harrison in the reality series 'Pawn Shops' about the only family owned pawn shop in Las Vegas. Rick and Richard opened the store together in 1988. One reviewer appraised the show as "... 'Antiques Road Show' hijacked by 'American Choppers' Tuetal family..."

Patrons of the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop bring in mostly jewelry, but the show focuses on some of the more unique items. From antique motorcycles to classic cars to the really strange such as shrunken heads and an infant gas mask from 1939. Other interesting items include a Rembrandt etching and a grenade from a secret government organization.

Whenever the elder Harrison's don't know about an items worth, they often bring in professional experts to appraise the value of such items; some as rare as sunken treasure others as interesting as one of the largest collections of Transformers.

Although the youngest Harrison is a manger in the family business, Corey does not have a share in ownership. Rick and Richard are often looking for Corey to prove himself, however many times he comes up short. Corey is known for buying outrageous items and one time bought a set of tattoo guns that he traded for a tattoo during work hours. Needless to say, the elder Harrisons were not pleased.

Corey has been in the family business since he was nine years old and works alongside his childhood friend Austin "Chumlee" Russell.

Premiering in 2009, 'Pawn Shops' airs on the History Channel on Monday nights. Reruns can be seen on the History Channel and also on the Lifetime network.
