Critic's Corner Weekend: 'No Ordinary Family' on shaky ground?

By Robert Bianco, USA TODAY

We're back in the alternate universe tonight on Fringe (Fox, 9 ET/PT) for a dark outing that puts Olivia and her baby in danger.

The question is, from whom? Other than, of course, the Fox executives who will decide whether this entertainingly complex but ratings-starved series gets another go-round.

?Syfy's weekly campfest hits the 200th original movie mark Saturday with Scream of the Banshee (9 ET/PT).

And the network is celebrating with a horror story built on a should-not-be-opened, but will-be-opened, mystical box that can kill through sound alone.

?Back on the renewal front, it can't be a great sign for the comeback chances of No Ordinary Family (Saturday, 10 ET/PT) that ABC dropped this episode into the weekend dead zone.

Stephanie gets a glimpse of a future in which her family no longer exists; feel free to interpret this as prophetic.
