Recap: The Real Housewives of New York City ?March Madness?

Tonights episode opens up as Sonja Morgan, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, and Alex McCord are getting ready together for the Marriage Equality of New York March.� Sonja says that she was asked to be the Grand Marshall and give a speech.� She says that Marriage Equality called her and said she was a gay icon and they really wanted her to be a part of the event.� I?m thinking�Sonja really needs to get an ego check, because when I think gay icon, her name isn?t among the many that come to mind�right away.�

Alex explains the reason that they are all walking across the Brooklyn Bridge in wedding dresses is because marriage is emotional for two people and that wearing a wedding gown puts you in the right frame of mind for it.� LuAnn takes a moment to make some jabs about Alex saying that Alex was taking things too seriously and that she was being annoying.� Alex says that Sonja keeps saying that this is her day and that her fri ends are there to support her, but really it?s about the event and legalizing gay marriage and Sonja should be mindful of that.

Heading back to the March is where the drama begins to really brew.� Alex says that the event coordinator told her that the speech she and Simon were to give got canceled because Sonja?s stipulation about being the Grand Marshall was that she was the only who could give a speech out of their group.� Simon argues with Sonja about not letting him get up to speak.� Sonja thinks that her day is being hijacked and Simon Van Kempen says that Sonja?s ego is getting in the way.� Alex says that it should be Marriage Equality?s moment and not Sonja?s and that if Sonja really wanted to make it about the event, she would let Simon speak.�

Kelly chimes in to say that all of�the arguing that?s going on has them embarrassing themselves and LuAnn says that she didn?t like the timing, that it wasn?t the right place or time for Simon to be in Sonja?s ear and arguing about the speech. Next thing�you know�Jill Zarin shows up and talks to Alex saying�Ale xknew she wasn?t coming because she had a wedding and the two pick back up where they did last week at the wedding they attended.� Jill thinks that Alex won?t let things go and that she is picking on her and it needs to stop.� Speaking of that wedding, we now see Cindy Barshop at her home talking to her brother Howie.� Howie tells Cindy about what happened with being behind Ramona Singer when she was talking crap about him.� Cindy says that it?s Ramona, Howie, and Howie?s girlfriend?s business about what they were talking about but she will be mindful�of Ramona.

Flash to Alex and Simon?s house where everyone goes after the big March!� Sonja says that she went to their house because she wanted to try and rise above everything.� Jill says she doesn?t want to spend any energy on negativity anymore and she and Alex talk for a few minutes.� They decide that they want to try and work things out but do it at another time.� Alex takes the opportunity to say that she wants to hear the speech that Simon was going to give at the March.� Simon gives his speech rambling on about how he came to America thirteen years ago from Australia and met an Alex who turned out to be Alexandra and�the whole thing�kind of made no sense, everyone besides Alex and Simon were left really perplexed by it.

Sonja decides to throw an art party for her boyfriend Brian Farrell�who is an artist who has made a painting of Sonja that she would like to show off.� She sees the painting and is a little put off by it as she says it makes her look eighty years old and that the painting doesn?t look finished.� She further says that he needs to give her a boob lift and take her from looking eighty to forty.� I say it?s going to take a lot more than some paint to make that a piece of ?art.?

Moving on LuAnn has lunch with Sonja and the two chat about the March and as Sonja says ?Bridezilla and her man?� referring to Alex and Simon.� Sonja says she wants to speak to Alex about it because she said that she treated Alex and Simon with respect, and she should get respect back.��LuAnn and Sonja�were happy that Jill came to the March and Sonja calls Alex a ?Bridezilla.?� I?m sorry, I thought we were on Bravo, isn?t Bridezillas on the WE Network?� LuAnn goes so far as to say that Alex has now found her voice but that she needs to be quiet because her voice is too aggressive.� I?d say that LuAnn is the one with the voice problem, have you heard her single ?Money Can?t Buy You Class??� Her voice could give Barry White?s a run for its money!

Jumping to Ramona who has finally appeared in tonights episode, she?s bought a table at a charity event honoring Gucci.�� She said after what went down last season in St. John and how crazy Kelly got, she didn?t invite her and that she has invited Sonja and Alex only to be guests at her table.� While waiting for Sonja, Alex takes the opportunity to spill to Ramona her side of the story about what went down at the March.� Alex says that she doesn?t mind having Sonja there at the Gucci event, just as long as Sonja doesn?t sit next to her at the table.� Next we see that Kelly is arriving arm in arm with Sonja.�

Apparently�Kelly is a friend of Gucci?s and was asked to come to the event.� Ramona starts to freak out when she hears Kelly is there because�she�thinks Kelly is going to want to sit with them.� She gets shpilkis and makes a make shift place card only to find out that Kelly isn?t even staying for the full event.&nb sp; Kelly says that when it comes to Ramona, she can forgive but not forget. Once Sonja sit down next to Ramona at the table, Ramona takes the opportunity to dish to Sonja about what Alex has told her.

It?s now time for Sonja?s big art event at her house for her boyfriend Brian and she says that regardless of what happened between her and Alex,�she invited�Alex anyway.� Sonja takes a moment to tell Alex that she?d like to clear the air and the two go into another room together.� Sonja then takes the time to get into a massive disagreement with Alex.� Things escalate so much that Sonja goes so far as to kick Alex out of her house and say that Alex has no manners!� She won?t let Alex get a word in edgewise and finally Alex leaves.� Enter LuAnn who has to make another snarky remark to say that she would have kicked Alex out of her house alone just for the ?S & M? outfit she says Alex was waiting.� Sonja tells LuAnn her side of the fight while outside Alex tells Simon�by phone her side.� LuAnn says that Alex didn?t even belong at the event.� Sonja?s boyfriend Brian unveils his painting and Sonja seems pleased with it .� Ramona says that she doesn?t think that it looked flattering and the episode comes to a close as Cindy says if that?s what her boyfriend thought she looked like, she?d dump the guy instantly!

Oy?.the battle between Sonja and Alex fuels on next week so make sure that you bring your own fire extinguisher!
