Gossip Girl returns to us on April 18th, but the CW only giveth five new episodes before they taketh away for the summer.� No doubt they?ll dump a host of other problems on us while we try to figure out why the hell Dan and Blair keep making out.� I teeter between liking it and wishing Blair would change her mind back to wanting Chuck.� But there is buzz that a wrench will be thrown into the plans as Blair and Dan continue their secret love affair.� Nothing can be as heartbreaking as last year?s season finale, when Blair found out Chuck slept with little Jenny Humphrey.� Oh, the heartache.

On April 18th, William van der Woodsen (Billy Baldwin) returns to give Lily moral support while she awaits ?the consequences of her decision? (that?s putting it lightly).� Grandma CeCe and Lilly?s sister Carol land in NYC to do a little of that BUT also to take part in a Taschen photo shoot focused on ?modern royalty.? � Carol?s daughter Charlie decides to tag along, even though Carol has done her best to shield Charlie away from the Upper East Side.� Not sure what kind of a turn Lily and Carole?s relationship took after that one time GG attempted a spin-off, but it seems that things aren?t stable between them because Charlie has never met Serena.
We?re not given much information on Blair and who the hell she ends up with, but we have a feeling this is going to be a long road.� All we know is that Blair experiences some sort of an epiphany about her future, giving her insight as to who she should be with.
